AP Studio Art: Summer Assignments
Sketchbook
Sketchbooks allow artists to collect and work out their ideas as they go through life. Sketchbook pages are not finished pieces, but ideas for bigger works of art. Anything can be put in a sketchbook: simple doodles, scraps of paper, words, or realistic drawings. The only rule to sketchbooks is that you need to spend time working in them.
Buy a sketchbook that is at least 7x9". Show me the sketchbook before the school year ends. Fill at least 4 pages a week this summer. What you do with those pages is up to you.
